Adventuring Home

The studio recording was done in CSW Santa Monica studio and completed at CSW North in Everett Washington. The footage and recording of the song took a decade to complete. The visuals are taken and start in LA, then head up the west coast and end in Snohomish County Washington where the recording was completed.

The harmonium, bass guitar, original guitar tracks, computer sequencing and percussion tracks to “Adventuring Home” were recorded at my former studio in Santa Monica just before breaking down the studio and moving to Everett Washington in 2009. In 2020 the additional lead and background guitar, drum sequencing and final mix were completed in Everett at my new studio.

The song “Adventuring Home” tells a visual and musical story depicting my two homes. It starts in LA where I lived for almost 30 years, and ending up where I now reside most of the time in Everett, where I write, record, and produce music. I also have a passion for restoring homes, picture framing, creating art, and woodworking.
